Math inSight – About Us

The founder of Math inSight is Robert L. Collins, Ph.D, whose degree is in the Psychology of Learning. Bob has been creating effective online education resources in math for over 20 years. The focus of Math inSight is to make it easier for students to understand math and for teachers to be able to teach math with less stress. A major focus of Math inSight is the use of DigiStix TM for visual support. It’s “A Better Way to See Numbers” because it reveals the underlying structure of the number system.

Math inSight resources are designed to support effective math instruction while protecting teacher and student privacy. No personal or student information is collected by Math inSight within Google Classroom or Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) products.
